Why
FULL-TIME: Full time and the Boks run out deserved winners at Newlands. A fast start form the World XV caught the Boks napping. But the visitors were unable to hold onto their early first-half lead with the South African pack showing their strength and power through the driving maul and the resulting tries, with Bismarck Du Plessis getting a brace. The World XV gave a fine showing but fatigue in the second half, left gaps for the Boks to exploit the defence with Goosen and Le Roux crossing late on in the game. South Africa will take many positives from this game going into the first test with the Welsh next week but, questions will remain over their scrum where they conceding a high number of penalties this afternoon. Other than the scrum the Boks exhibited a powerful performance across the board. That's all from us folks! Thanks for staying with our live coverage.
Such a soft yellow
He's a liability player in general
Goosen adds the conversion as George Clancy blows for the final whistle. Final score, South Africa win 47-13
Mvovo with a good break and a final well-weighted pass puts Willie Le Roux over with the last play of the game!
Just two minutes left to play now
A succession of scrappy phase play with a number of turnovers ends with Goosen skipping over for the try. The World XV look tired as they fall off the tackle in the lead up to that try. Goosen converts his own score to extend the Bok's lead further
Does it matter that he actually stomped on his own player? Looked to me that he was on Pat Cilliers arm. Wrong though, no place for that in rugby
Cowan is sin-binned for using the boot on the head of Duane Vermeulen. The right call from the ref. No complaints here
