Mitre 10 Cup HIGHLIGHTS: Bay of Plenty v Manawatu

It wasn't a spectacle by any means but it had its moments. Manawatu survive the Bay of Plenty onslaught to beat them for the first time in 4 years. Bay of Plenty pushed and pushed and had an opportunity to win it right at the end but the penalty attempt from Trask was short. Bay of Plenty only have themselves to blame however as countless knock on's and penalties inside Manawatu's 22m cost them dearly. Manawatu defended well for most of the game and will be very happy about that. They get their first win in 6 matches. Both teams travel next week, Bay of Plenty are away at Otago and Manawatu are away at Hawkes Bay
