Early retirement forced Julien Sarraute to take up work in coaching following his playing career with Lombez-Samatan, Castres, Auch and Miélan-Mirande.
At the age of 28, he was in charge of a senior side's back line with Auch having worked with the Academy beforehand.
The ten years that followed from 2008 to 2018 saw him work with the Auch's backs as well as the Academy.
In early 2019, he arrived at Colomiers from Auch last season to take care of the backs.
With Colomiers threatened with relegation Sarraute was given the head coach role later in 2019.
