England team to play France in 2025 Six Nations second round announced

England men’s head coach Steve Borthwick has named his team to play France on Saturday 8th February at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.

There will be first Test starts for fly-half Fin Smith, and No 8 Tom Willis, while Ollie Sleightholme comes in on the wing for the injured Cadan Murley.

Marcus Smith will operate from full back, and Ben Earl shifts to open-side flanker. Ben Curry is named among the replacements alongside new names from last week in Jamie George and Elliot Daly.

“England versus France is an incredible fixture to be involved in,” said Borthwick. “We’re looking forward to being back at Allianz Stadium in front of our home supporters, for what I am sure will be a great game of rugby.”
