Head Coach Kenny Murray has named an unchanged Scotland U20 starting XV for their 2025 U20 Six Nations fixture against Ireland U20 at Hive Stadium on Saturday (kick off 7.45pm) – live on BBC iPlayer.
The only change comes on the bench, where Edinburgh Rugby prop Jamie Stewart joins the replacements.
The front row again consists of Oliver McKenna at loosehead, Ollie Blyth-Lafferty at tighthead and Joe Roberts at hooker.
Dan Halkon is joined by Charlie Moss in the second row, while blindside flanker Christian Lindsay, openside Billy Allen and number 8 Reuben Logan continue in the back row.
The half-backs are made up of scrum-half Noah Cowan and stand-off Matthew Urwin. Johnny Ventisei, who captains the side, starts at outside centre and is joined inside by Kerr Yule, the two pairing up in the centres for the seventh time for Scotland U20.
Fergus Watson starts on the left wing, Guy Rogers is again on the opposite side. The team is completed by Jack Brown at full-back.
On the bench, Stewart, alongside hooker Seb Stephen and prop Jake Shearer, is primed to come on in the front row. Lock Bart Godsell and back-row Oliver Duncan complete the forward replacements.
For the second week in a row, the backs replacements are scrum-half Hector Patterson, stand-off/full-back Ross Wolfenden and back-three Nairn Moncrieff.
Murray said: “We’re looking for that consistency across the pitch so we’re happy to be able to keep the same starting team as last week.
“We’re still looking for that 80-minute performance that we’re capable of, and it’s important that we produce something that our fans at Hive Stadium can be proud of.
“It was a great atmosphere for the game last weekend which was a valuable experience for our players to be involved in, and I’m sure it will be more of the same this weekend.”
