Born in Hexagon, Stroe has Romanian citizenship and represented former PROD2 club Tarbes, signing two-year deal.
After Tarbes was downgraded at the end of the 2015/2016 season for financial reasons, Stroe was picked up by Castres in 2016 on a two-year deal.
As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Stroe has had 8 Champion Cups appearances.
The 2020 Top 14 season becomes marks Stroe's 4th year at Castres.
