A powerful Russian tighthead prop, Vladimir Podrezov started his professional career at VVA-Podmoskovye while also representing Enisei-STM.
In 2015, Podrezov was called into the Russian squad and made his test debut on 11 July, 2015, in a 39-19 defeat to Namibia.
He featured a further 12 times after his test debut before he got his first start in his 14th test for Russia.
He recorded his first, try for Russia on 18 June, 2017, in a 31-10 triumph against Namibia.
He was named in Russia's Rugby World Cup squad in 2019 and made his Rugby World Cup debut against Scotland.
By April 2021, he was capped 34 times by his country and has just one test try.
Formerly of VVA-Podmoskovye, Podrezov was training with London Irish in April 2021 and signed a short-term contract with the club until the end of the 2020/21 season.
