A late penalty allows Counties to hang on at the death to secure a narrow 16-14 home win over Auckland after they led 10-7 at the break. Auckland crossed for an early second half try to hit the front at 14-10. Counties reduced the deficit to a single point with a penalty with just over a quarter of the match to play. Another Counties penalty saw them edge ahead 16-14 with 5 minutes remaining. Auckland threw everything they had at the hosts defence and got the ball over the line but held up was the call as Counties held on for a hard fought victory.
The guy that held Ioane up was clearly offside?!?!

No clear evidence of a grounding so held up the call and that will be the ball game
