The Northampton Saints survived a late fight back from Gloucester to hold on for a 19-13 home win. The Saints led 13-3 at the break and added a penalty and drop goal to lead by 16 points. However, Gloucester scored with 15 minutes to play and again with 5 minutes left on the clock to set up a nervy finish. The come back was not to be as the Saints held on for the victory.
