Donoso is an up and coming player who plays for Selknam. In 2022 he played in the U20 International Series for Chile against Zimbabwe where they were beaten by 43 - 35.
In 2023, Donoso was named in the Chile XV squad to face the California Grizzlies.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Donoso has been named in the training squad for Chile.
