Prior to his spell with Ealing Trailfinders, Hunter played at Cambridge having graduated from Hartpury college. Whilst studying at the Gloucester based University, Hunter was involved in successive promotions and back-to-back University Championships, he also represented Gloucestershire under 20s and Gloucester Rugby's A side.
He has enjoyed two outstanding seasons at Castle Park since joining from Ealing Trailfinders in summer 2013.
