Sutton began his rugby career at Lincoln RFC, and has previously represented the Midlands and England ‘A’ at U16 level and is a product of the Leicester Tigers Academy.
He was offered a full professional contract with Nottingham in the summer of 2016 after a successful spell playing in the Nottingham Academy side and a full season at South Leicester RFC, a National League Two team, during 2015/16.
