Wales put up a great fight against the Springboks but ultimately suffered their 12th straight loss. The Springboks came out firing and looked to dominate Wales and win by a bigger margin but the home side fought hard.

- Thomas du Toit 9: Thomas the Tank did a number on his club partner and had one of his best Springbok performances to date.
- Johan Grobbelaar 8: Immacualte at line out and scrum time, a little 'iffy' on defence but great outing but good with ball in hand
- Wilco Louw 8: Solid game and was the only member of the Bok front row to beat two men with ball in hand.
- Eben Etzebeth 8: Another top class performance cut short due to injury but scored a great try and was his usual self
- Franco Mostert 8: Man of the Match, try scorer and doing all the grunt work. Top Springbok tackler too
- Siya Kolisi 8: Solid 80 from the Springbok captain, Beat four players with ball in hand and made all his tackles
- Elrigh Louw 8: Great on the side of the scrum, the Springboks have got some good Pieter-Steph du Toit back up
- Jasper Wiese 8: 19 carries topping that stat for the game, added to that some great runs and solid defence
- Jaden Hendrikse 5: Not a great game by the Springbok scrum half.
- Jordan Hendrikse 6: 15 points on the day but a few wayward kicks from hand along with some test jitters hampered him
- Kurt-Lee Arendse 8: Two try assists along with his first test try against the Welsh.
- Damian de Allende 7: Good outing for one of the best 12's in the world
- Jesse Kriel 8: Superb in support and with ball in had, the defensive general and he showed it today.
- Cheslin Kolbe 8: Deadly on attack and defence
- Aphelele Fassi 9: He, with the support of his wingers make a formidable back three. Excellent under the high ball, in the form of his career
