Noah Lolesio is a special talent tipped to reach the pinnacle of rugby in Australia. He was born in Auckland and raised on the Gold Coast where he represented the Australian Schools rugby team as an inside centre.
Lolesio moved to Canberra just two days after finishing high school to pursue a career in rugby. He had a standout season for the Tuggeranong Vikings in 2018, helping them win the John I Dent Cup premiership. His performance caught the attention of the Brumbies coaching staff, who signed him to a deal and included him in the Canberra Viking 2018 NRC squad.
Lolesio impressed at NRC level and helped the Canberra Vikings reach the semi-finals in his debut season and a final in 2019. He also played a major role in the Junior Wallabies' run to the U20 World Championship final in 2019, starting at centre and inside centre during the competition.
In 2020, Lolesio started the opening Super Rugby game for the Brumbies against the Reds and retained the starting #10 jumper until the competition was halted. His impressive performances earned him the attention of Wallaby greats, who praised him as a step above most kids after visiting one of the Brumbies training sessions.
With his skill set and talent, Lolesio is widely tipped to succeed at the highest level of rugby and make a name for himself as a Wallaby. In 2023 he joined RC Toulon to strengthen the Rouge & Noir group during the international window linked to the Rugby World Cup.
