Its all kicking off now, as the pace of the game keeps up its frantic level. A kick at goal from Elrick narrows the score before Ahki pulls off an intercept tp canter home untouched from well inside his own half. North HArbour with a healthy seven point lead, as we approach the final 10 minutes.
TRY NORTH HARBOUR! This game has really exploded into life, as the visitors now get in on the try scoring action. Replacement scrum half Bryn Hall deceives the defence, attacking blind to canter in for the score. Elrick cant convert, but the side still leads.
TRY SOUTHLAND! What a turnaround from the home side, who now lead by a single point. Good work from the forwards get them close enough for McKenzie to pick and go, scoring in the process.
TRY SOUTHLAND! Again what a time to score, seconds after returning to the field. From the kick off the Stags go the length of the field when McKenzie shows good strength to crash over the line. Four points in it, with lots of time left in the half this could go either way.
TRY SOUTHLAND! What a time to score, just before half time. Willis Halaholo makes a great break in midfield before passing to Vaega to cross the whitewash. McKenzie is wide from the tee, but Southland are back in it.
