Basson's try caps a very comprehensive Springbok victory. After a lull in their performance following the break, they recovered their rhythm put the result beyond doubt. Credit to a hearty Italian side who provided plenty of hardship for the home side but were ultimately outclassed. Thanks for following, hope you enjoyed!

Basson collects a wayward pass in mid-field and flaunts his excellent footwork, dancing through three defenders before racing clear for the try.

De Villiers crosses late in the match after a solid performance in the centre. Basson is served the ball out wide and tears down the wing. He draws two Italians and slips a beautiful offload to De Villiers as he's dragged to ground. DeVilliers jogs in for the try and Steyn converts.

An Italian spills the ball forward on half way and the Springboks gather. A looping pass from Strauss feeds Habana on the wing. The Italians hold back, and allow Habana space - big mistake. The winger darts through the stagnant defence, evading multiple defenders before touching down for a much needed try. Fantastic individual effort.

After an extended period of pressure in the SA twenty-two, the Italians earn a penalty when Coetzee rushes out of the defence prematurely and is deemed offside by the Ref. Di Bernardo makes no mistakes with the kick.
