Martin du Toit represented Western Province at youth levels and spent 2011 playing club rugby for Hamiltons in the Western Province Super League before joining the NMMU Madibaz prior to the 2012 Varsity Cup.
He started all seven of the Madibaz' matches, scoring one try and kicking four conversions. That same year he signed with the SWD Eagles where he has been plying his trade since.
Du Toit is capable at fullback and inside centre but his primary position is flyhalf.
He has amassed over 70 appearances for the Eagles and in October 2017 he signed a deal with the Southern Kings for the 2017/18 Pro 14 season.
