Dario Chistolini born in South Africa currently plays for Zebre in the RaboDirect Pro12. He plays as a prop. Dario joined Gloucester for the start of the 2011-12 season. He joined from Petrarca. On 6 April 2013, Chistolini will left Gloucester to return home to Italy to join the new franchise Zebre for 2013/14 season.
He made numerous appearances for Italy A, before being called into the Italian national team in 2014, coming off the bench in a loss to Samoa. Continued good performances for Zebre in 2014/15 saw him selected to represent Italy at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
After Martin Castrogiovanni called time on his career, Chistolini was called in to patch the gap for the 2017 Six Nations tournament, where he has represented Italy 7 times.
