Daniel Jooste, born on 21 February 1998, is a South African rugby union player for the Sharks in Super Rugby Unlocked. He primarily plays as a hooker.
Jooste attended Paarl Boys' High School, where he honed his rugby skills during his formative years. His talent and dedication earned him opportunities to showcase his abilities at higher levels of the sport.
In 2017, Jooste represented South Africa U20s, demonstrating his potential and catching the attention of scouts and coaches. Following his successful stint with the national U20 team, he progressed to the senior ranks of South African rugby.
Jooste joined Western Province and had the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Currie Cup, a domestic rugby competition in South Africa. His performances in the Currie Cup showcased his abilities as a skilled and dynamic hooker.
In May 2019, Jooste made his Super Rugby debut for the Stormers, a franchise based in Cape Town. He made his mark by coming off the bench as a replacement hooker in a match against the Lions. This experience further solidified his growth and development as a professional rugby player.
