England squad update

Curtis Langdon (Northampton Saints), Arthur Clark (Gloucester Rugby), Ben Spencer (Bath Rugby), Henry Pollock (Northampton Saints), and Raffi Quirke (Sale Sharks) have been called into England’s Six Nations squad as preparations begin today at the team’s training base in Girona ahead of their opening Guinness Six Nations clash against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday 1 February.

The five new players replace Jamie George (Saracens), Alex Coles (Northampton Saints), Jack van Poortvliet (Leicester Tigers), Alex Dombrandt (Harlequins), and Alex Mitchell (Northampton Saints), all of whom sustained injuries while playing for their clubs over the weekend.

Mitchell will travel with the squad to Girona to continue his rehabilitation
