A very important member of the Romanian team for a number of years now, Carpo is a strong number eight, with over 50 caps for the Romania and 30 in European club competition. He was born in Tulcea and started playing rugby in Constanta before transferring to Timisoara. With the Romanian club he has one two national titles in recent years.. He then moved to Bucharest to join CSM. Carpo made his Romania debut in 2007 and made his second world cup appearance at the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.
He will feature for Richmond in their 2017/18 campaign.
