A prolific try-scorer in Saints’ Under-18s side, Dani Long-Martinez hails from the Norfolk coastline and signed on full-time with Northampton in the summer of 2020.
Having previously represented Norwich School and Holt RFC, the winger was selected for an England Under-18s development camp in February 2020, having impressed in Black, Green and Gold since Saints Academy staff spotted him during the 2019 Rosslyn Park 7s competition.
Long-Martinez featured heavily for Saints' Under-18s throughout the 2019/20 campaign and featured in Black, Green and Gold at the 2019 Premiership Rugby 7s tournament at Franklin's Gardens.
The fast-footed winger then went on to open his Saints account in a preseason friendly against Worcester Warriors in 2020; and after representing England Under-20s in a friendly fixture against Newcastle Falcons in March 2021, Long-Martinez headed out on loan to Bedford Blues during the 2021/22 season as part of Saints' strategic partnership with their Championship neighbours.
