Silverthorn is the Winningest coach in Canadian Rugby Championship history (as of the beginning of 2021). He served as head coach of the Ontario Blues senior men’s provincial program from 2012 to 2018 before joining the Arrows in 2017.
He has held multiple coaching roles with the Canada National team during international tours and was awarded the 2012 Rugby Canada Coach of the Year.
