Quintin Geldunhuys is a South African native currently plying his trade in Italy. Beginning his career with the Pumas in 2003, Geldenhuys moved to Viadana in 2005 to begin his Italian playing career.
In 2010 he moved to Aironi for the 2010-2011 season. It was here that he formed a concrete partnership with Marco Bortolami. He made his debut with the Italian national side at the summer tour of Australia and New Zealand, in a loss against Australia in 2009.
Since then he has racked up over 61 caps for his adopted nation, and was named as part of the Italian squad for the 2015 World Cup.
He plays for Pro12 side Zebre and took to the field for the Italian side in the 2016 Six Nations Tournament until his retirement from international rugby in November 2016.
In March 2017 Geldenhuys left Italy to return to South Africa for family reasons, his contract was subsequently cancelled by mutual consent.
