The former Stockport Grammar School student started playing rugby at the age of seven at Stockport RUFC.
He progressed through the Sharks Academy and has made numerous appearances for the Sale Jets squad.
He made his senior National League debut in the 2015 season for Macclesfield where he started in four matches and was a replacement in another.
Morton has been released from Sale Sharks at the end of the 2016/17 season.
