Wales Maintain Their Impressive Run Of Form

The 11-18 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield ensures Wales enter Round 5 with an attempt of claiming a Grand Slam while also adding to their record breaking run of wins. They have now won 13 consecutive matches in all competitions, their longest run in Test history. Ireland travel to Cardiff next weekend but if Wales can keep their cool than the Grand Slam is definitely within reach.

Ansombe The First Choice Ten

The Cardiff Blues flyhalf kicked important goals and provided a try assist to further highlight his case as the No. 10 starter for Warren Gatland. Anscombe amassed a total of 8 points and didn't shirk his defensive duties during his 80 minute effort as he completed seven tackles. He kicked out of hand intelligently and took the ball to the line sucking in opposing defenders to open up holes for his ball carriers. 

Graham A Real Talent

The Edinbugh winger scored his first Test try for Scotland and was Scotland's most dangerous outside back. His footwork and turn of pace caused trouble for the Welsh defence, while his defensive work was also solid at all times. At just 21 years of age, Graham is a novice in the Test environment but his performance today deserves high praise, 51 metres gained and four defenders beaten strengthen that case. He has now scored in his last four games at Murrayfield.

Liam Williams To Make Way For Halfpenny Return

The Aerial Bomb defuser departed from the pitch after 48-minutes with his arm in a makeshift sling, which makes him a real doubt to be fit to face Ireland in Cardiff. He was in the process of another fine performance for Wales that saw him display his ability under the high ball and threaten with ball in hand. Waiting in the wings on return from a lengthy layoff is Scarlets fullback Leigh Halfpenny. He made a comeback from injury against Munster in the PRO14 and showed no signs of rustiness in the process. If Williams is out of the Ireland game, than it is the British & Irish Lion that will fill his boots.
