The Golden Lions host Griquas in round 2 of the Currie Cup. Both sides will look to bounce back from opening round defeats as the Lions went down 43-36 to the Pumas, while Griquas lost 51-45 to the Blue Bulls. The Lions will of course be without their Super Rugby players involved in the semi-finals.
