6nations
Ultimate Rugby Mar 3

Hello and welcome to live coverage of this penultimate match in the 2014 6 Nations Championship as Ireland travel to the Stade De France to take on the French in this 6 Nations decider. After England's convincing win over Italy earlier the attention turns to these two sides in particular Ireland who still have the best point's difference and know that only their second win in Paris in 42 years will bring the championship back to Dublin for St. Patrick's day. We are expecting a very tight game this evening like the two previous games these two sides met in, with nothing able to separate the sides after 80 minutes. A 17-17 game in 2012 Paris was followed by a 13-13 draw in The Aviva in last seasons championship. Apart from an entrawling match it will also be the final appearance for Brian O'Driscoll. The most capped international in the history of rugby union will be making his final appearance for his country in the same stadium that put him put him on the map as one of the greatest centre's the game has ever seen after a brilliant hat-trick gave Ireland a 26-24 win over France in 2000 in what was their last win in Paris. Everyone will be talking about O'Driscoll and his retirement and also how Ireland go into this game as favourites and all that will suit France. The French side and their coach Saint-Andre have been all the talk in France after a horrendous display of Rugby against Scotland in which they were extremely lucky to come away with a win. Former French coaches like Laporte have heavily criticised team and Prop Nicholas Mas stormed out of a press conference during the week after questions from journalists slating the French team and their performance against Scotland. With all this scrutiny from the media the French players will be pumped up for this match as they will have a point to proof and Winning here this evening and ruining O'Driscoll's final appearance and maybe even picking up the championship come 7pm is what they will aim to do. kick off is half an hour away so stay with us for furthers updates and analysis on this exciting weekend.
