If the attacking team infringes before they score why shouldn't they be penalised? It was that moment that Edinburgh lost out on the lbp, probably unfairly too so that could have an impact on our season later on.
It looked like he dropped it just short of the line then it rolled onto the line underneath his body. Actually when you rewind it back to the line out it doesn't look like it was straight either. It makes no odds as the ref didn't bother the TMO with the grounding or line out as more than 2 phases of play occurred before the try was awarded.
@Gregor B. & Stephen Colliar He didn't drop the ball - watch the video above.
Then clearly state how in your opinion he was not in control of the ball at all times. Surely, during these moments of a rugby match, the attacking team should not be penalised.
unbeat??? just cause the table says otherwise and their Scottish counterparts may be implied😈
A well fought game at Murrayfield saw Leinster run out bonus point winners against a resolute Edinburgh side, Leinster will be looking to continue this form going into next week.
It did look like he dropped it but the ref seemed happy with it. You can't give away 4 try's in the first half and expect to get a win against a team like Leinster. Watson summed it up in the post match interview perfectly, it shouldn't take that to kick start you into getting into the game.
@C. The ref - for boring us with his pedantry!
watson I believe
Man of the match?
