A strong front rower Chris Apoua started his professional career in New Zealand's Mitre 10 Cup with the Northland Taniwha.
Apoua left Northland to play club rugby in Romania before returning to New Zealand to feature in the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup with his new side Southland.
