The top points scorer in the AIL of 2012/13 for Landsdowne FC, Ronaldson joined the Connacht Squad on a one year contract at the beginning of the 2013/14 season.
He made his debut in the first round of the Pro 12, coming on as a substitute in a 25-16 win over Zebre.
His performances and development impressed coach Pat Lam enough to extend his contract for an additional two years after the 2015/2016 season.
He made 12 appearances in the 2016/17 season scoring 73 points and scored 46 points in another 12 appearances the following season.
