Kotz has played for both the Under 18s and the Under 20s for London & South East England in 2008 and 2010.
After playing for the England University 7s team in 2012, he received Constellation Rugby División de Honor 2015/16 season best player of the month award for January 2016.
In May 2016, Katz joined Jersey Reds for their 2016/17 season.
Katz will be leaving Jersey Reds at the end of the 2016/17 season to join recently promoted Massy in the French Pro D2.
