Dan spent two years with Exeter’s Academy before joining Plymouth and more latterly Nottingham.
Becoming one of the stand-out playmakers in the Championship for Nottingham in 2016, he was signed by Sale Sharks after being in Steve Diamond’s radar for a while.
Mugford was released from Sale Sharks at the end of the 2016/17 season.
