The British & Irish Lions get through their first match reletively unscathed, as they impressively beat a spirited Japan oufit 28-10 at BT Murrayfield. The Lions started slowly, but grew into the match, before kicking into gear to take a 21-0 lead into the break. They were imoressive in defense, but Japan grew into the game in the second half and kept the Lions to just one try in the second half, as well as getting on the score board themselves. It was rather routine, and the Lions will be happy with the run out, but there is a concern about Captain Alan Wyn Jones, who went off injured after 7 minutes. We wait for the news as the Lions depart for South Africa now
