A former member of the Blues Academy under Denis Ormesher, Pieterse became another option at loosehead for Bedford Blues coach Mike Rayer’s side as squad preparation continues for the 2021/22 Championship season.
Pieterse made 33 appearances for Exeter University during his time studying there and he became captain, showing his leadership qualities.
His performances for Exeter earned him a call up to England Students, where he demonstrated his ball-carrying and pace which are both great strengths to his game.
In July 2021, Pieterse signed a deal with Bedford Blues.
