U20 6Nations: France's path to glory

As it stands, France's U20 are currently trailing England's U20's and will need a win over Scotland in Edinburgh and hope that England suffer a loss at the hands of Wales, for them to have a shot at the title. Join us as we take a look at all of the possible outcomes and what each team needs to win the championship.

France’s route to the title

• If France secure the bonus point victory and England lose (with or without a bonus point), will the La Bluettes crowned as champions with 20 points.

• If France win without a bonus point and England lose without a bonus point, things could still work out in Frances favour and secure them the crown.

Much like the English, France may also have to rely on points difference in certain scenarios:

• If France win with a bonus point and England draw or lose while earning two bonus points, France would need to surpass England’s points difference.

  
  

• If France win without a bonus point and England lose with one bonus point, the title would again be determined by points difference.

• If France only manages to draw with a bonus point, they would need England to lose without any bonus points and have a better points difference to claim the championship.
