The Lions take an emphatic 31-10 lead over the Stormers into halftime. The Lions started like a house on fire as they crossed for three early tries to build a 19-0 lead. The Stormers hit back with their first try, but the Lions responded with their fourth soon after. A Stormers penalty closed the gap to 14 points, but the Lions would have the final say of the half as they ran in their 5th try for a commanding lead at the break.
