Steve Borthwick said that injured duo Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and George Furbank could return to England's ranks before the end of the Six Nations.
Feyi-Waboso decided against having surgery on a dislocated shoulder he sustained before Christmas following discussions between England and his club.
The 22-year-old Exeter wing has impressed on the international stage since making his debut at last year's Six Nations, scoring five tries in eight caps for his country.
Exeter's director of rugby, Rob Baxter, said last week that Feyi-Waboso had an outside chance of featuring for Borthwick's side, who picked up their first win of the tournament on Saturday.
England emerged 26-25 victors over France at Twickenham, earning their first victory over Les Bleus since 2021, ending a run of seven consecutive defeats.
"There's a possibility he'll be back before the end of the Six Nations, and I'd love him to be back," Borthwick said when asked about Feyi-Waboso.
"The timescales are a little bit unclear, and it depends on how things progress, but he's going well so far."

Full-back Furbank, meanwhile, is recovering from fracturing his arm in Northampton's Champions Cup win over Bulls back in December.
The 28-year-old was removed 29 minutes into Saints' 30-21 victory after being tackled by Bulls skipper Elrigh Louw.
"He is going well," said Borthwick of Furbank. "He had [another] X-ray on his arm last week, and we are waiting for the specialist to give his view on that.
"Hopefully he might be available at the end of the tournament, but we are still waiting for the specialist's report."
England face Scotland in their next match of the tournament on February 22, before concluding their campaign at home to Italy and away to struggling Wales.
