Ulster take a 7-0 lead over Leinster into halftime. Ulster started strongly, but missed the first chance at points as their penalty attempt 11 minutes in went wide. Ulster did open the scoring with a try after 16 minutes to lead 7-0. Ulster had a chance to extend their lead heading into the break, but their shot at goal with the final play of the half went wide.
