The Sharks hold a two-point lead over the defending Super Rugby champions thanks to three penalties from Sharks' flyhalf Curwin Bosch. Codie Taylor scored the only try of the first half following a brilliant team counter attack from a Curwin Bosch clearance from the kick off. The Sharks have defended well giving the Crusaders little space but their faulty lineout has cost them on occasion.
