Vasil Lobzhanidze, born on October 14, 1996, is a Georgian rugby union player known for his position as a scrum-half. He currently plays for the French club CA Brive in the Top 14 and represents the Georgia national team.
Lobzhanidze gained significant attention on the global rugby stage during the 2015 Rugby World Cup, where he made history as the youngest player ever to appear in a World Cup match. This achievement showcased his talent and potential at a young age.
As a scrum-half, Lobzhanidze has developed into a skilled playmaker and an essential component of the teams he represents. In December 2015, he signed his first full professional contract with CA Brive in the prestigious Top 14 competition, beginning from the 2016-17 season.
