Salmon played at lock and spent time with Chinnor and London Irish before joining Rotherham in 2016.
The imposing second-row forward was one of a handful of signings brought in by the Chiefs ahead of the 2017/18 season on a two-year-deal.
As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Salmon has had 2 Champions Cup appearances.
Making 16 appearances in his two seasons with the Chiefs, Salmon signed a two-year deal with Newcastle Falcons in May 2019.
