Toulouse take a 14-10 lead over the Sharks into halftime. Toulouse picked up an early yellow card and the Sharks kicked the resulting penalty to lead 3-0. Toulouse drew level with a penalty just after the midpoint of the half. The Sharks then missed a long range shot at goal, but went over for the games first try to lead 10-3. Toulouse pulled three points back with a penalty just after the half hour mark and they then crossed for their first try to edge ahead, adding a penalty with the final play for a four point advantage at the break.
