Toulouse take a 13-3 lead over Montpellier into halftime in tricky wet conditions. Toulouse opened the scoring with an early penalty, with a second giving them a 6-0 lead. Toulouse then crossed for the games first try to make it 13-0, but Montpellier pulled three points back with a late penalty to trail by ten points at the break.
