Leinster take a 33-12 lead over the Kings into halftime. The Kings opened the scoring with an early try, but Leinster hit back with a try and penalty try for a 12-5 lead. Despite picking up two yellow cards the Kings pulled level with an intercept try making it 12-12. However, Leinster would finish the first half strongly, running in three tries inside the final 4 minutes for a comfortable lead at the
break, with the Kings picking up a third yellow card of the half just before halftime.
