Against the run of play, the Highlanders score a brilliant individual try through the middle of the field.

Highlanders receive the ball from the kickoff and clear the ball up field. The Sharks choose to run it from their own 22. A kicking battle ensues before a kick comes off the side of the boot which allows the Highlanders to have a lineout on the Sharks 22m.

Sharks again penalised, this time for being offside at the ruck. Should be an easy 3 points for the Highlanders.

Highlanders are tackled out of play but the ball comes off the Sharks to set up a lineout to the Highlanders. The Sharks are then penalised at the lineout for playing the man in the air. Highlanders have another lineout on the Sharks 22m.

Sharks win a tighthead but choose to kick the ball away. Results in a 22m drop out.

Sharks attacking on the halfway line. They kick for the corner but its gathered by the Highlanders and the kick is returned. The Sharks make a break but knock the ball forward. Opportunity lost for them, scrum to the Highlanders on halfway.
