The Scarlets take a 16-14 lead over the Stormers into halftime. The Scarlets got off to a superb start, following up an early penalty with a try shortly after to open up a 10-0 lead. The Stormers hit back with a try to open their account, but the Scarlets kept the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties to lead 16-7. A try for the Stormers just before halftime sees them trail by only two points at the break.
