Munster take a 28-3 lead over the Dragons into halftime. Munster scored their first try ten minutes in to lead 7-0. The Dragons pulled three points back with a penalty approaching midway through the half, but two quick Munster tries followed to make it 21-3. Munster scored the bonus point fourth try four minutes from halftime for a commanding lead at the break.
