Grown in the Treviso nursery, Filippucci is in his eighth season with the first team. He also played with the National Under-21 and Under-19, participating in a tournament edition of the Six Nations Under-21, Under-21 World Cup played in France in 2006 and competed in the 2005 World Under-19 Championship in South Africa.
