Lee Imiolek started his rugby at the back of the scrum before moving to prop while playing for England u16's, a switch he has never regretted. His England representation continued into u18 and u20 levels. He played for the Sale Sharks, starting there in the 2009/10 season and continued there until a loan spell at Yorkshire Carnegie in 2012/13. This move became permanent and Imiolek has been playing at the club since his permanent move in 2013/14.
